To help you get a real feel for what it is like to study at the 爱妹社, we hold a number of dedicated postgraduate events and activities throughout the year for you to take part in. 

Postgraduate Open Day

Wednesday 11 June 2025 (4.30pm - 7pm)

Our Open Days are the best way to find out about postgraduate student life at Lincoln. You can chat one to one with academics, tour our facilities, and get expert advice on funding your postgraduate quali铿乧ation. As well as hearing a series of talks by our expert sta铿, there鈥檒l be time to talk to our Postgraduate Team about the support services available, applying to Lincoln, and any other questions you may have.

MSc Food Manufacturing Webinar

Thursday, 27 March, 12pm - 1pm.

Join us at our MSc Food Manufacturing event on Thursday, 27 March, 12pm - 1pm online. This programme offers the opportunity to develop and expand expert knowledge and practical skills in food manufacturing, sustainability and sustainable technologies, and innovation, all of which will underpin management and leadership capability when seeking to advance food and drink sector initiatives.

Social and Political Sciences Postgraduate Day

Friday, 4 April, 12.15pm - 5pm.

The School of Social and Political Sciences Annual Postgraduate day is a flagship event in which the school鈥檚 PhD students and MA students present their work to their peers and academic staff, and anyone considering a Master's at Lincoln. Dr Aaron Winter from the University of Lancaster will be giving a keynote lecture on 鈥楻esearching the Far Right in Reactionary Times鈥, followed by a student panel. Refreshments will be provided throughout the event. Join us in the David Chiddick building on Friday, 4 April, 12.15pm - 5pm.

MA Medieval Studies Webinar

Wednesday, 30 April, 7pm-8pm

Lincoln has a long and fascinating history. With its Norman castle, world-renowned Gothic cathedral, manuscripts and documents, including Magna Carta, the city is home to a wealth of medieval resources, making it the perfect place to undertake MA Medieval Studies. Join our academics on Wednesday, 30 April, 7pm - 8pm as they discuss MA Medieval Studies at Lincoln.

Postgraduate Application Support Drop-In

We run postgraduate application drop-in sessions every other Wednesday from 1.30pm until 4.30pm on the second floor of the Minerva Building (room MB2101), on our Brayford Pool Campus. The next Postgraduate Drop-In will be on Wednesday, 2 April.

One-to-one Appointments

For a more bespoke service, our dedicated Postgraduate Team o铿ers one-to-one calls or meetings where you can discuss your individual circumstances and aspirations in detail. The team can help you to explore your options, suggest courses, signpost relevant funding streams, and support you at every stage of your journey to Lincoln. They can also arrange one-to-one chats with academic sta铿 for any course-speci铿乧 enquiries.
